Restocked my kit yesterday, and had a chance to play with some of these goodies today. I will write a little about some of my favourites, which I think ALL women need to own. Strobe cream. This is a long time MAC fav, and a well known best seller. It has a beautiful pearl effect which gives dull winter skin a much needed boost. Now available in this mini size and I def recommend checking it out! RRP $25 Painterly paint pot. This is, in my opinion, the perfect eyeshadow base for any fair skin. It goes on as a cream but sets matte, helps to conceal any discolouration on the lid & helps shadows appear more vibrant. The BEST thing about it tho, is the fact my eyeshadow does not budge. Ever been the victim of eyeshadow moving into the creases of the eye or disappearing by days end? If so, then you need painterly in your life. My last fav is the concealer palette in medium. For $105 I think this is a really good investment. The peach tone totally counteracts any blue under the eyes, and the yellow completely covered any redness or scarring. Then you have 4 mid tone concealer colours to mix together to get your perfect skin tone all year round. LOVE. If you want to see me wearing these products, head on over to my Instagram (@sebmakeup) and check out my vintage gothic look. Love Seb X

I love a good crazy makeup, I am more than willing to wear a black lip, or red on my eyes, or both at the same time - but at the end of the day you just can't beat a good neutral smokey eye, especially the deliciousness that is my new smashbox palette. This eyeshadow trio contains 3 beautiful hues which will compliment any skin tone. They are highly pigmented and incredibly smooth. I would describe Nectar as a warm, matte peach - best used as a transition colour between the lid and brow bone. Cinnamon toast is a beautiful mix of champagne & pewter, and would be perfect for use all over the lid. Last but certainly not least is Roast, which has a beautiful gold reflect, perfect to smoke out any day look created by it's more neutral neighbours. Check out the Photo Op eyeshadow trio in Screen Shot in store or online at www.smashboxcosmetics.co.nz x With two little ones I never have enough time in my day, and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. So I put together my essential 6 products & 6 brushes that achieve a flawless and polished look with minimal time and effort. Want to know more? Read on my friend. 1 - apply a BB cream. This is skin care, primer & coverage all in one! I use Lioele Triple the solution BB cream as it is full coverage & works well with my skin type. I apply this with my foundation buffing brush to really work it into the skin so it lasts all day! 2 - Hello BH Cosmetics brow kit! I use this not only on my brows but as a contour, bronzer, eyeshadow & liner! And dude its only like $10! I use my blush brush to contour my cheekbones, and my fluffy crease brush to add definition to the crease of the eye. My angle brush is perfect for shaping and defining the brows. I then use the thin liner brush to line my eyes with the same product, wet with a little bit of water. 3 - Add The Balms Mary-Lou Manizer highlight to the tops of your cheekbones and eyelid using the paddle brush to really pack on colour. 4 - Rimmel London extra wow lash mascara to finish the eye look 5 - EOS lip balm for the perfect pout (smells delish too) And lastly 6 - add a bit of colour to the cheeks which always makes me feel good. MAC mineralise blush in Band of Roses 💋 ![]() I was never blessed with a beautiful full brow, and have to draw them on daily. If you need help too, here is a little pictorial to get on your way to becoming a brow queen. They say brows are the new black you know! After brushing the hairs upwards with a spoule, I start by lining underneath my brow, using an angle brush and either a powder or cream close to my natural hair colour. Then, as I like a defined brow, I line the top too. Fill them in using short hair like strokes with your brush and a gentle hand, starting at the tail and getting lighter as you move along. I like to use a concealer to clean up any edges, then lastly comb through a brow gel & you're done! BROW LOVE! ![]() I recently came across a brand called Limecrime, being U.S based it's not a brand that is widely available here in NZ. They are advocates for cruelty free and vegan makeup, their colours are outside the box and c'mon their packaging has unicorns on it! So of course I had to try some of their products. The lip I am wearing here is Wicked, from the Clueless Witch collection launched in March. It is a liquid lipstick, that sets matte and is completely smudge and kiss proof. It HONESTLY lasts all day. No crumbling or flaking, no smudging, it doesn't dry my lips out and well, it has fast become a holy grail product for me. WICKED! Check out www.beautybliss.co.nz to purchase x ![]() Well, can I just say that I am super excited to be launching Seb Makeup brushes in the near future.
