So the latest trend we are seeing in makeup is called "strobing" ... What is strobing you ask?! Well basically, it's skipping contour and just highlighting over a dewy base. Talk about easy. It's something I have been doing for years, only out of sheer laziness really, but I love that it's become a thing as EVERYONE suits the softer more ethereal youthful look that strobing creates. It's also a helluva lot easier to get right. Here's my guide to strobing in 3 easy steps. 1. Choose a highlight that suits your skin tone. For me I love The Balms Mary Lou Manizer as I am very fair, and this white gold is one of the only highlighters that actually highlights my ghost face 😂 If you're more of an olive skin tone I would recommend a golden bronze and for redheads an champagne/apricot/pinky highlight would be the best choice. 2. Choose the right consistency for your age and skin type. Dry skin would benefit from a cream highlighter like MAC Creme colour base. This is also a good choice for a mature skin. No matter what your skin type, avoid too much glitter if you can, to prevent ending up looking like a disco ball. 3. Find the high points of the face and go for gold! Top of the cheekbones, temples nose and chin. I love to highlight the tip of my nose and the Cupid's bow of the lip myself, it brings so much dimension to the face & defines the lips so much more than you would expect. One tip to remember is light will enhance, so keep it to areas that you are wanting to make a feature. If you're still feeling a little confused, check out the diagram below! Good bye contouring, hello strobing.

I am a huge advocate for this teeth whitening system, my before & after speaks for itself. After 2 babies & living with long term auto immune disease my teeth were in a bad way, and I was ashamed to smile 😞 Now 6 months in and I'm still in love with my smile - for the first time in my life, and it's all thanks to my friends at smilesciences 💋 I've had expensive whitening treatments at the dentist and had no improvement and a lot of sensitivity. I am happy to report I experience ZERO sensitivity with this kit. Bonus is it's also cruelty free 👌 SO! If you want to get your hands on this bad boy, use my code "sebkit" to pick up for just $29US pp, a HUGE 90% off. You're welcome. 😚 www.smilesciences.com I was lucky enough to try some products from Mellow Cosmetics, a NZ based makeup brand. The products are cruelty free & paraben free & offer an incredible selection at an affordable price point. The eyeshadows I found to be highly pigmented, very soft and easily blendable. This lipsticks are thick, creamy with incredible colour payoff. My particular favourite of the bunch was Nude, a beautiful mauve toned hue which is right on trend. Will be doing a full review on some more lip colours soon!!
