I saw swatches of this palette before it was launched, and knew instantly I had to have it. I've been a fan of limecrime for some time, all of their products are vegan and cruelty free, not to mention highly pigmented and overall amazing. This palette contains 8 "nu grunge" colours, ranging from light to dark, hues of rusty red, and warm matte browns. Venus, the palettes namesake, is a beautiful burgundy, with a slight sheen. Not for the faint hearted, but amazing for light coloured eyes & warm skin tones. Shell is a bright irredescent peach, with a creamy satin like texture. A beautiful sparkly transition colour, which would make blue eyes bluer than the deepest ocean. Aura is your highlight, it reminds me of MAC naked pigment, just more creamy & smooth. Creation is not unlike MAC uninterupted, with slightly more warmth this matte shade just goes that one step further, a burnt reddy brown that epitomises the grunge/heroin chic rebirth of the 90's. Icon, also matte, is a beautiful, slightly cooler brown, perfect for smoking out any eye look. Rebirth, name being a nod maybe to the 90's revival, is a highly pigmented tangerine, like nothing I've seen before. Divine, a matte taupe hue, perfect for blending out and softening the darker colours in the palette. Lastly we have Muse. A matte deep red, with hints of brown and deep burgundy undertones. Each colour compliments the next, with a taste of the unexpected. To me, the perfect combo. This palette sold out in 3 days. I highly suggest going on the limecrime mailing list if you want to get your hands on one of these babies next round. You won't regret it 💋 www.limecrime.com |
